Who writes The Cow Tech Report?

Veteran journalist Walt Cooley is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Cow Tech Report. He has more than 20 years of journalism experience. Nearly all of his writing and editing experience is within ag journalism. He was the editor-in-chief for 16 years of Progressive Dairy magazine – a national magazine for U.S. dairy herds which is published 20 times per year. He is also a contributor to Ag Proud and Progressive Cattle magazines. He is currently the VP of Publishing for Progressive Publishing. The Cow Tech Report is published by Progressive Publishing.

In addition to being an award-winning journalist, Cooley is an MBA graduate from Boise State University. 

I started The Cow Tech Report because technology has always fascinated me. I’m a futuristic thinker who envisions what could be possible someday with advancing technology. The content of this report will lean into the future of tech for cows.
